Nougat is a sweet candy made of nuts or fruit pieces in a sugar paste but now Nougat is much more popular for something else other than a sweet candy. Nougat is the Android 7.0 version. Before going with the Nougat, will first look into what is Android ?
When you hear the word “Android” a green color small robot will pop out in your mind. Most of the people are not deeply aware about android but they are so much familiar with the android logo. If we look in to researches and surveys today the most popular mobile operating system is android. Google is the owner of android and this operating system is basically built for the mobile phones. Rather than mobile devices android is installed on tablets and other wearable devices. Android allows its users to access Google services like Google Search, Gmail, YouTube, Google Drive, Maps and more. Android versions are named alphabetically with a name related to sweets or desserts. Currently the last version release of android is Nougat.
Although Nougat is the latest version still people are using the older versions due to many reasons. Few of them are people not being aware about the latest updates, not interested about updates and their mobile device is not compatible with the new version. Android introduced Nougat as their sweetest release yet. So will see what is special about Nougat.

Android 7.0 Nougat has the ability to use two or more languages at the same time , over 1500 emojis including 72 new emojis and multi local language settings are available. It enables multi window view with quick switch between applications. The users can switch between two applications using a double tap and work with two applications side by side. For an examples you can text while watching a video. On Daydream-ready phones high quality virtual reality is available. Doze on the Go is a new feature which allows you to save your battery power while you are moving.
Nougat makes users more comfortable by allowing the user to customize the quick settings so the users can arrange it according to their choice. Notification direct reply allows you to reply mini conversations within your notifications without opening an application. Another feature coming with this is Bundled notifications which is a simple tap to view and expand more information in notifications without opening an application. The display size is adjustable not only the texts but the icon sizes too. The data usage off the device can be limited by using the data server. Nougat allows you to control your notifications as you wish.
In any operating system security and privacy can be considered as a major factor so Nougat also comes with powerful layers of security and encryption to protect your private and sensitive data. There are few new features in Nougat to ensure the security. They are seamless updates, file-based encryption and direct boot.
Android operating system is improving day by day, the next version will be released very soon with more attractive features. Let us wait for the next version which the name will be starting from the letter “O”.
